Girls Night Out Dinner

My Calendar Girls Night Out last night went amazingly well. In addition to creating a great project, we enjoyed a wonderful dinner. I made White Chicken Chili and Tastefully Simple - Beer Bread, Chocolate Bliss Cheese Ball, and Twisty Grahams.

If you need Tastefully Simple products (or would just like to see the new Spring-Summer Catalog), please let me know.

I'm including the recipe for the White Chicken Chili because the ladies last night loved it so much:

White Chicken Chili

2 lbs. Boneless Chicken Breast
4 C. Chicken Broth
Boil chicken in broth, then take out to cool.

Add the following ingredients to the broth:
48 oz. jar Northern Beans
24 oz. jar Salsa
8 oz. block Pepper Jack Cheese (cubed)
Shread chicken and add to soup. Simmer until ready to serve.

Hope you enjoy the chili as much as we did!

Demonstrator Resources

My card today is totally cased (copy & and share everything). I made this card when I saw it on the back of my Stampin' Success magazine (Stampin' Success is the monthly magazine that Stampin' Up! sends to their demonstrators). I used Botanical Blooms and Congrats. Both are sets you can earn FREE with a $50 purchase from the Sale-a-bration catalog.

In addition to being beautiful, this card is a great example resources available to Stampin' Up! demonstrators. I could have changed the colors....or the stamp set ...but instead I copied it exactly :) Whether you create it or someone else did.....your customers will be happy to make it (especially when you're just getting started). Stampin' Up! provides countless resources for demonstrators to make preparing for workshops, classes, and clubs quick and easy. You don't have to reinvent the wheel.

Don't forget if you'd like to join my team....now is the best time. The Stampin' Up! Starter Kit is on sale for $169 and you get to choose any FREE stamp set you'd like in addition to the wonderful kit...and don't forget about my little joining gift. If you need more info, just let me know.

Thanks for stopping by!

Demo Stamp Camp Swap

When I left for school this morning, I had planned on sharing my swap project from the Demonstrator Stamp Camp I went to this weekend. Now I'm even more excited about sharing it. I visited Jackie's website tonight and found that my swap was the winner!!!
It is a cute little M&M packet holder using Fifth Avenue Floral - very quick and easy to create, but leaves a lasting impression on the receiver.
I'm so excited that my swap was chosen as the winner!!!

Calendar Girls Night Out

I'm so excited about Girls Night Out on Friday, February 27th. I created this beautiful calendar on Friday evening using half of the 2 Sweet Simply Scrappin' Kit (but it could be made using any Simply Scrappin' Kit) and my favorite photos of Lily. You can also make this beautiful calendar for just $32. I still have 2 spaces available - if you'd like to attend, please call me at 269-686-2349.

Those who attend will need to bring a paper cutter, scissors, adhesive, and 12 photos cropped to 4" x 3 1/4".

I am also offering this calendar as a Class By Mail with all pre-cut supplies, photo sample of each month, and instructions for completion for $32 plus postage.

Jackie Bolhuis' Stamp Camp

I had an amazing time yesterday at Jackie Bolhuis' Stamp Camp for Demonstrators. We made several projects in three different stations. It was interesting to be the student rather than the teacher. I found myself working as quickly as I could to complete projects before it was time to move on to the next station. I'll have to keep that feeling in mind as I design my own classes. Now time to share the projects!

This is a card portfolio we made using 1/2 Sunshine Garden Simply Scrappin' Kit, 8 envelopes, and 4 sheets whisper white cardstock:

These are some cards we made using the Big Shot along with various dies and Texturz plates:

This is a set of Sesame Street cards using the Big Shot and lots of punches:

This is a cute recipe book we made using the 5x5 Art Journal, Voila, and designer paper. It currently contains no recipes, but I will be adding section tabs and my own recipes.

I hope to use some of these projects at upcoming classes. Please watch my upcoming classes on the sidebar for details.

New Blog

Today, I attended a demonstrator stamping event with Jackie Bolhuis. We created the most amazing projects, learned how to use our Big Shot correctly, saw a demonstration of the new Circle Scissors Plus, and got lots of business tips.

I met Jennifer Salgat who inspired me to give blogging a try - Thanks for the encouragement Jennifer!!!

I'm excited to embark on this new endeavor. Please bear with me as I learn new things like posting photos of projects, adding links, and much more. This is going to be a learning process for me, but I can't wait to begin.
I just had to share this photo of Shelli Gardner and me at Leadership in Orlando in early January. I was so excited to meet her in person - she's so inspirational! I've been saving this photo to be the first I posted when I finally started my blog.
