Stampin' Up! Convention

My husband and I are planning on a Bahamas cruise with my parents for spring break next year, so I had decided not to attend Convention this year in an effort to save money.

Well, they extended the registration deadline and I just couldn't resist any longer. With Rich's encouragement, I registered, bought my plane ticket, and made room arrangements over the last couple of days. I'm so excited to be planning and preparing for this trip again - it's a busy week filled with stamping, food, and friends!

I will be leaving on July 12th for Salt Lake City. Be sure to check back that week for pictures and news from Convention.

As for current blog posts, I have two more days of meetings for school. I hope to have plenty of time at the campgrounds this weekend to play with my preorder items - stamps, in colors, and accessories. I will be posting projects as I complete them. Thanks for your patience!

June Girls Night Out

Please mark your calendar for Friday, June 24th to make these amazing masculine themed cards. The $21 class fee includes all of the precut supplies for the four cards pictured above, the Countryside clear stamp set, and a light dinner. As always, I ask that you bring your own adhesive and scissors. Please RSVP by June 18th to allow time to order and prepare supplies.

Because I've combined my Girls Night Out and Monthly Card Kit programs, you can purchase the card kit (precut supplies and envelopes so you can make 12 additional cards using the designs you make at the event) for $20 - that's about $1.70 per card.
Note: The additional card supplies do not include the featured accessory - you may order it at a 20% discount.

If you would like to take the add-on card kit home with you that night, please order it (and the featured accessory if desired) at the time you RSVP for the event.

Amazing Inspiration

I'm attending our niece's bridal shower this afternoon. I found these cute bags for $1 at Walmart at Easter. I used some retired paper and ribbon to create a coordinating card. It's amazing where you find inspiration. (Note: The color match is much better in person - my camera doesn't do well with greens.)

School Demands

I'm so sorry not to have posted in a few days. As most of you know, I'm a Kindergarten teacher and things are busy at school with the end of the year. I only have 11 days left with kids after today (all day walking field trip with 47 kids today and the school carnival tonight). I will be able to post more after I'm finished with school responsibilities for the year. I'll try to post some inspiration for you over the weekend.
